Hygiene & Operational Policy
Over the past several weeks, we at the Donard Hotel have been working tirelessly to ensure the comfort and health of all our guests and team members. All of the operating procedures throughout the building have been reviewed to ensure the best service and experience possible, while adhering to social distancing and increased hygiene measures.
We have been closely following the guidelines set out by the NI Executive, Northern Ireland Hotels Federation & HSE. We have put into place all recommendations set forth by these government bodies. As these will affect the way you enter, exit and move through the hotel, we believe it prudent to inform you of the changes to your stay.
Below are some of the many steps we have taken:
Guests will now be contacted 24-48hrs before arrival. During this conversation we will ask for confirmation & payment for your stay. Any cancellation at this point will be without fees attached. At this point, you may also make a reservation in our restaurant. This new “pre-arrival” measure is aimed at reducing the amount of time spent in the lobby, ensuring a swift & safe check-in experience.
